We Need You!

 Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek.  One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way. 

 Directed by Ray Dimaano & Music Directed by Emmy Hunt, the workshop will run from July 17th - July 30th, 10am-4pm, with performances on July 29th @ 7:30pm and July 30th @ 3pm.

 THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family– a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents. 

 Start practicing your snapping skills! The Clarksville Community Players are pleased to announce this summer's YATW musical: THE ADDAMS FAMILY!! The YATW workshop will run from Monday, June 26th - Sunday, July 9th.
